Rain Barrel Culture and Practice is an illustrated guide through the history of storm water management in New Orleans. This book dives into how all community members can be engaged in the rain barrel movement and how our small individual actions collectively create monumental impact. The book is included with every rain barrel installation and personalized with a photo of the artist who painted their barrel.

TESTIMONIALS

"Our family loves to garden, and I have always thought it a waste to use the city’s drinking water to care for the plants. I’m excited to be able to use rain water for this to protect our environment as well as our city that is so often flooded. Thank you for this service, Green Light!"

"We originally wanted a rain barrel to limit the fast flow of water that pooled at the end of our driveway after heavy rains. After Ida we realized that we could use it to help flush toilets. We'd like to use the water to water our plants and herb garden and ultimately reduce our use of the city water supply. "
